We believe that we should look after one and other, so that each of us can live our lives with dignity. We also believe that we should look after the world we live in, because if we don’t, it won’t look after us.

As a Green Party representatives, we pledge the following:

• We will faithfully represent the wishes of the people of Sligo, Roscommon and Leitrim in the framing and adoption of local or national legislation if elected to do so

• We will seek to establish the personal dignity of every person as a central theme of Government.

• We will promote the view that we have to start thinking ahead, because long-term planning is the key to the provision of quality living, economic prosperity and the delivery of efficient public services.

• We will do everything we can to protect our Environment and Heritage, which we believe are our most valuable economic and cultural assets.
